DUDE Wipes, San Jose Earthquakes Announce Back-of-Jersey Deal

The San Jose Earthquakes have reached a multiyear back-of-jersey partnership with DUDE Wipes, the maker of flushable bathroom wipes. Beginning in August the DUDE Wipes logo will appear on the back of the Major League Soccer club’s first-team jerseys. The partnership, which also entails DUDE Wipes becoming the club’s Official Wipe/Flushable Wipe, expands beyond the jersey to include community programming, matchday activations, digital content and fan engagement initiatives across San Jose.  

“We are excited to announce our new partnership with DUDE Wipes,” says Earthquakes President Jared Shawlee. “DUDE Wipes is a rapidly burgeoning national brand and we look forward to introducing a number of activations together to support our local community and enhance the fan experience at PayPal Park.”  

In addition to logo placement on the back of the first team’s jerseys, DUDE Wipes will be the presenting partner of PRIME TIME—the Earthquakes’ interstate rivalry match at Levi’s Stadium against LAFC, which will take place this year on Sept. 19. DUDE Wipes and the Earthquakes will introduce a new activation called Clean Sheets, which will feature giveaways and more when the Quakes’ defense records a shutout in MLS play. DUDE Wipes will also commit to providing product to families at community events across the Bay Area.
